Year 3 - House of Mannanan

Measuring Results - Class 3U

3U have been working hard to measure results accurately when carrying out different investigations. The children were trying to find out which paper made the most effective paper aeroplane. They used metre sticks to carefully measure the distance flown by their aeroplanes.

Young Engineers - Year 6

Adrian from Young Engineers has been in school to deliver STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) sessions with some classes across the school. The Year 6 children have enjoyed learning basic fundamentals of engineering and applying them to model making.

Investigating Moon Craters - Class 6C

As part of the Year 6 science unit, Earth and Beyond, Class 6C have been investigating moon craters. They looked into what causes craters and explored the impact that speed, weight, angle and distance has on them and then carried out their own investigations. They had great fun!
