FAO parents/guardians of Year 6 pupils who are starting QEII in September.
Our School Council visited the Tynwald Legislative Building this week. They were fortunate enough to have a tour and a mock debate in the House of Keys and speak with one of our MHKs, Tim Crookall. Afterwards, they enjoyed their lunch at Mcdonalds!
The Year 5 children had a day-trip to Rushen Abbey for an RE curriculum based day last week. At Lifepath, the children learnt about how monks used to live and how Christians live today. They had great fun! \
We entered two teams, Vikings and Celts, into the Western District Football Tournament that took place at Kirk Michael school. All of the children played exceptionally well and the Celts managed to get to the final! The final was a very close game but unfortunately we lost 1-0. Well done to Marown…
The football team played very well at Union Mills Football Club in the IOMFA Millennium tournament on Saturday. The children played brilliantly as a team, there were some outstanding goals and exceptional saves from our goalkeeper, Arthur. Well done everybody!
Peel Clothworkers’ entered a netball team into the Western Netball Tournament at QEII High School on Wednesday 22nd June. A total of 7 teams entered the competition and we are delighted to announce that our team came 2nd place allowing us to qualify for the National Finals. Well done to the netball…
Our school House Captains were invited to the NSC to run around the track with the Queen's Commonwealth Baton. What a fantastic experience!
