Peel Clothworkers' School

'Enjoyable Learning for Life'

Yesterday, our Year 6 children and the School Council went on a visit to the Isle of Man Courts of Justice and Tynwald Chambers!

What an amazing, insightful, educational and fun trip it was!! We held a mock trial in the Courtroom complete with judges, witnesses, prosecutors, defence, a jury and a defendant. In the House of Keys chamber we held a lively debate in Tynwald chambers with the title: Should homework be banned?

Special thanks to Mr Armstrong from the Courts and Miss Cullen from Tynwald Chambers for organising such a fantastic day for us.
