Peel Clothworkers' School

'Enjoyable Learning for Life'

We had three teams entered in the IOMFA All Island Girls’ Primary School Football Tournament and all girls played extremely well demonstrating excellent teamwork and compassion to each other and respect to their opponents. They all took time to thank the opponents and shake hands after every game and were excellent role models for our school.

After the group stages we found out that our Peel Diamonds team were in the quarter finals, which they won and another win in the semis put them in the final. The girls were so strong and played a fantastic last game, which ended 0-0 after extra time so it went to penalties. The girls ended up winning on penalties and the children were over the moon! Totally well deserved, well done girls.

A big thank you to our MSR coach Callum for training the girls and thank you to Miss Lace, Miss Parkinson and Mrs Lewin for taking the children to the tournament.
