Year One is a crucial time for children's reading and phonic fluency development. Children have the ability to direct their own learning with different interactive phonics activities around the classroom. The children scan a QR code which takes them to their chosen phonics game.

We have been using primary colours with white and black to paint local Manx animals. The children have been mixing their own colours to create colours and have been trying to avoid mixing everything together to make brown!
