'Enjoyable Learning for Life'
Lauren Dennett in Year 6 held a passionate and informed whole school assembly. She reasoned why we were helping the Australian animals and what we can do to help.
Reception held their Stay and Learn based on number last week.
Year 6 have been producing Art based on their feelings, studying Mondrian and others. 5 people in the family, the artist is the youngest and smallest. The death of a hamster. A rocky cliff. Grass, soil, rock, water, foam. A Peel sunset.
Year One went to the Energy From Waste Plant to discover where our electricity comes from. It was amazing to see the enormous pile of rubbish and how it burns.
2 teams from Year 4 got through to the regional finals yesterday. Both teams played fantastically well and scored lots of goals in all their matches. The team pictured were undefeated and worked really well as a team.
2M have been learning about Statistics in Maths. We have been looking at different ways to display data including tally charts, bar charts and pictograms.
