The Eco-Club children went down to Fenella Beach to carry out a litter-pick and see the Queen's Commonwealth Games Baton Relay as it came through Peel.
Here are our Eco-Schools children with Andrew Sutton of the Probation Service, who, along with Northern Men in Sheds, have installed new planting beds in our school garden. The children have planted a range of vegetables over the last few weeks and have had great fun doing so!

Inspired by a wonderful description of a pomegranate in the Year 5's topic novel, The Boy at the Back of the Class, the children have been using their five senses to write their own descriptions of other exotic fruits!
Our community police officer, PC Darran Loader, paid us a visit in this morning's assembly to talk to the children about road safety ahead of TT. The children were very engaged and gave lots of sensible answers. Keep safe everybody!
