Year 1 went to South Barrule to continue their learning about "Woodland Wonders". We looked at different flora around the plantation, participated in a scavenger hunt and then used these items to create transient art.
The KS2 children welcomed Dawn Colley to talk about the work of the Manx Wildlife Trust and the different habitats around the Isle of Man in the Trust’s nature reserves. The Year 5 children attended STEM Fest at the Villa Marina last week and had a brilliant time! STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) Fest is an interactive and educational event designed to engage primary school students in STEM subjects and local industries.

Our School Council visited the Tynwald Legislative Building this week. They were fortunate enough to have a tour and a mock debate in the House of Keys and speak with one of our MHKs, Tim Crookall. Afterwards, they enjoyed their lunch at Mcdonalds!
The Year 5 children had a day-trip to Rushen Abbey for an RE curriculum based day last week. At Lifepath, the children learnt about how monks used to live and how Christians live today. They had great fun! \
