The Year 2 children had a wonderful afternoon at the beach today! The trip tied in with their current topic, 'Whatever the Weather' and English focus, Shirley Hughes' 'Out and About' poetry book, which is all about exploring the outdoors. They had a scavenger hunt, built dens, explored and played games before enjoying a hot chocolate treat at the kiosk.
