Today we joined up Beach Buddies to clean the local area around Peel. We had over 500 people on the streets picking litter with help from parents, grandparents, siblings both older and younger to tidy up our community areas. That makes it the largest participation Beach Clean event held on the Isle of Man.
We collected over 200kg of rubbish which is fantastic!
Between the whole school, we tidied up from the attotments to the headlands, both beaches, the town centre, most of Peel's housing estates, the school grounds and the nearby campsite.
