Utmost Wealth Solutions very kindly sponsored a plethora of fruit to be delivered to Peel Clothworkers' in order to promote healthy eating and give the children a nice treat!
Year 2 used the fruit to further their maths learning, estimating the weight of individual pieces.
In Year 1, we looked at the features of fruit. Banana skins and soft raspberries. Strawberries are the only fruit to have it's seed on the outside!
The children commented on how little plastic rubbish was left over after we had had so much to eat.
