Year 3 enjoyed a ‘Tour de France’ celebration on Thursday, timed to perfection with Mark Cavendish’s record breaking 35th Stage Win!
We also found out about an amazing past pupil of Peel Clothworkers', and great, great Aunty to Devon, Millie Robinson. Millie was the first ever winner of the Tour de France Féminin in 1955 and held the World Record for the ‘Hour Race’ in 1958. She has been dubbed the ‘First Manx Missile’.
We all had great fun and showed determination when completing our laps around the course!
