Year 3 finished off their Viking topic by making some traditional Viking food: stew and oatcakes. We worked together to peel and chop vegetables, and to weigh out, mix and roll the dough for the oatcakes. Afterwards, we got to eat all the food we had made! Some even asked for seconds. We would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to Mrs Lewin for helping us with the oatcakes.
Year 3 have really enjoyed this topic and have learnt lots about the Viking era.
