Peel Clothworkers' School

'Enjoyable Learning for Life'

A massive well done and pat on the back for our KS1 choir who performed in the Guild on Saturday morning. Their songs ‘Once upon a December’ and ‘Let it Shine’ were beautiful and the adjudicator was full of praise for how well they sang, and how well behaved they were. They were a credit to our school!

Our KS2 choir also performed in the Mixed choirs class on Friday afternoon. They sang ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ and ‘Manannan’s Cloak’. All 48 children behaved impeccably and the adjudicator commented on what a wonderful and well organised choir they were. They sang so well, and were delighted to achieve 3rd place in their class.

Lastly, congratulations to our School’s Community Choir who came 1st place in their class on Friday evening. There was tough competition and we were thrilled to have won. Thank you to Miss K Lawrence for coaching the choir and to Dave Holland for being our pianist on the night.

A huge thank you to all staff who have worked extremely hard with the choirs, with special mention to Mrs Fairbairn, Miss Garrett, Mrs Whitmore and Dr Lipman.
