Madeline Porter of the Willaston Community Fridge project came to visit us to collect vegetables for their Warm Space & Lunch day from children who planted them in our school allotment earlier this year. We're delighted to have been able to support this wonderful project!

The children had great fun celebrating Hop-tu-Naa in school. There was a brilliant effort made for the turnip carving competition, lots of spooky costumes and some wonderful traditional Manx dancing!

The year 6 children went on a World War Two walking tour of Peel lead by local historians, Tony and Jill Quirk. They learnt about internment camps and visited the air raid shelter on Peel Headlands that was a private shelter during the war. It was a very fascinating morning!
In RM, we had a lovely morning with our parents at our Stay & Learn. They helped us in our Phonics lesson and then we showed them how we lead our own learning and practise new skills in our classroom.
