Year 5 have been investigating what life was like in the 19th century. As part of this study, they found out about the lives of children during this time in history. They went on to use their Design and Technology skills to produce 19th century type toys.

Class 1BG built a Dragon trap then wrote instructions on How to Trap a dragon. Here are the pictures. WE DUG THE PIT WITH MAGICAL SPADES, covered with a blanket, put twigs and leaves on and threw some meat on top to attract the Dragon!

Remembrance Day Service

Some of our Year 6 children were invited down to the Rememberance Service at the Cathederal. The children read poems and readings beautifully. As a group, the children also laid individual crosses to form a large cross.
